A Few More Stereoscopic 3D Videos from Russia by Igor Daurov

July 6th, 2010 · 2 Comments · 3D Movies & Videos

I’ve found another Russian studio called Daurov stereo 3D that is shooting stereo 3D movies and has a few samples of these movies available. There are four different stereoscopic 3D videos in 1080p Dual-Stream WMV format and that means that you need to use the 3D Vision Video Player or the Stereoscopic Player to open them, otherwise with any non-3D capable video player supporting this format only a 2D version of the video will be shown. And although the resolution is 1080p the image quality is not the best possible, although still quite good and the 3D effect is very nice, so definitely worth watching. The author of the videos Igor Daurov is also selling the full versions of two of the movies with a price of something between $15 and $20 USD (on DVD), so if you are interested you can try contacting him, but the whole website of the studio is in Russian.

Two More Short Stereoscopic 3D Trailers Available for Download

April 15th, 2010 · 10 Comments · 3D Movies & Videos

Here are two short stereo 3D trailers of movies produced in 3D by the Red Star Studio that you can download and view on your 3D Vision or other stereo 3D-capable system. They are both with 1080p resolution and you need a stereoscopic video player like the 3D Vision Video Player or the Stereoscopic Player to view them. The Curse of Skull Rock video is a bit old, I’ve also noticed that the full version (about 12 minutes) is available on the Yabazam online store, but it is limited to users of the TriDef media player (it is in their proprietary format). However below you may find links to download a short trailer in 3D of the video and there is a trailer on the Yabazam for TriDef users available too. The other video with is quite fresh, also a short stereo 3D trailer of a full 3D movie is called Dracula 4D and this one seems to have been designed for the so called 4D cinemas where you can also feel some of the effects. As usual if you watch these stereoscopic 3D videos please share your comments below.
