 Post subject: bad conversion?

i downloaded how to train your dragon that was sbs and every time the scene changes its almost like the glasses lose sync, but then i dled a different one and it wasnt doing this

bad conversion or ?

Most likely it is a badly converted/compresed version, did you have similar trouble with other 3D videos or just this one?

it happens with the version of a christmas carol i found as well

what if they picked the wrong frame to display first?

Yes, if the left/right frame orientation is wrong you will be getting pseudo 3D effect and the scene will feel very wrong.
Usually with Side by Side or Over/Under 3D video content the first frame is left.
