Post subject:  windows 8 .inf hack eye swap help...

Hi all.

I'm new to the 3d world and my computer skills are very limited so have come looking for help.
I brought my Lg D2343P monitor the other day and didn't realise it would be such a pain trying to get games to run ion 3D. I have used the .inf hack which works with both the Acer and Zalman but im having the upside down glasses problem. The problem that I'm having following the instructions here :- viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2206 is where is states to "Right-click on the Stereo3D folder in the registry, then click the followings: Permissions..., Advanced, Add..., Advanced...." I can get as far as the "Add" part but then everything is grayed out after that. I've tried loading regedit in administrator mode but still get the same.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Lee.

Do you have the User Account Control enabled, if so it might be the cause of the problem, try disabling it.
Also make sure you are loggend on the computer with an account that have administrative privileges.

Since you are probably using 3D TV Play, we recently discovered that you can lie to the Setup Wizard, and reverse your eyes there. This doesn't work for 3D Vision glasses, but apparently does work for 3D TVs.

This is the spot where you choose the pentagon and triangles. If you wind up flipped when telling the truth, try lying to it.

If that doesn't work, check your monitor menus to see if they include a flip function.

Hi all,
first of all I would like to apologised that I write my question in old tread,
I have similar problem with swap eyes in wizard like in this tread but the different is to I have brand new 3d vision IR and glasses.
My system is:
- laptop clevo p370em with 2 680m gtx (sli enabled) win 8.1 pro,
- projector optoma hd65 upgraded with soft 3D.
- brand new 3d vision ir and glasses,
- 3d vision clone ir and glasses.
I use from our forum optoma hd67 inf.
Why I have swap eyes in 3d wizard on my new glasses? The clone 3d vision work ok.
There is any way to I can get proper setup?
last question is - do my new glasses are not faulty?

Kind Regards
Tomasz
