Thanks for the info on the Vizio, and yes please let me know if you can get Frame Packing output from the TD10, and what the monitor displays as the rate and image particulars for that. Other please chime in with your results.

It seems to me that if Sony incorporated the techniques of "stereoscopic player," which plays smoothly on my older system, for timeline playback, the fuss for a better CPU would be mitigated. I wonder if Sony developers get smooth playback, and what sort of workstation they developed this on.

stereo, use left stream
stereo, use right stream.. you dont need to bother with it at the edit point, just the output rendering.

now your sequential stream is kinda complicated.. as i'm sure theres a perfectly adequate walk through somewhere, this is probably a rought aproximation.

make a full image, presumably peak white frame. save it, now an empyty one, or otherwise black.
1 frame wide, copy twice, twice, twice, copy that a few times, copy that a few times.. a few of these and you have a week of runtime.
use it as an alpha mask.
no, ive not done this, but 255 white should mask all.

you could just do a simple and crazy in frame, out of frame overlay 1 frame wide without tweens. every frame a keyframe with the super being out of the display.. that is probably the simplest, if not tediuos.

Hi, everyone! I just happened to make a tutorial about convert the sbs video to colorcode3d, with step by step description and pictures, enjoy! 8-)

http://cyther423.blogspot.com/2011/07/c ... coded.html

It didn't take that long to transcode the video. I have a i7-2600 and 8gb ram. It took me about 3 hour and half to convert the movie "Rio". The file size is about the same.
