Post subject:  NVidia 3D Vision Glasses - battery broken or...?

I couldn't find a better place to post this, so I guess I'll post it here..

I've just bought an Acer HN24H monitor, and there were a pair of glasses in the box. However, I can't seem to get them working. When pressing the power button, nothing happens at all. When plugged in (i.e. charging), an orange led (or whatever it is) is flickering next to where the cable is put in. No green/red led. They also don't function when they are charging...
So now is my question, is this the battery, are they broken or am I simply failing?

Thanks in advance!

If you are seeing orange light blinking this should mean the battery got discharged quite a lot, leave them for an hour or two to charge.

When charged and you press the power on button on the glasses you should see a green light for a few seconds that will turn off itself after a while.

It's already charging for over 5 hours, but still the same result... I don't think it can be discharged thát much?

If you still don't get the brief green light when you power on the glasses, this means that the battery is probably dead.

If the voltage of the LiPo battery used int he glasses drops below 3V it is possible that it will not charge anymore.

Thanks for the response.
One last question, would this work in this case?

There is a chance that it will work, it has worked for me multiple times... however I'd recommend this as a last thing to try.

If you've just got the display you better get the glasses replaced, they should be under warranty as opening them would void the warranty.
