I have a Toshiba Qosmio X500-110 laptop (2009 model) and a new bought SONY KDL 46HR920 (3D capable). I tried to play 3D movies through Toshiba's blu ray but all i get is a beautiful 2D result... is there something wrong i do or my laptop is just incapable of showing 3D movies through it's HDMI?
Thank you in advance and i wish you all a beautiful new year with health and prosperity!

It is possible that the video card you have in the laptop is not able to output 3D content in HDMI 1.4 frame packaging mode.
Also make sure you are using a 3D-capable software Blu-ray 3D player such as PowerDVD, WinDVD or TMT5, all of these have trial version so you can test if any of them will work with your system.
