On the image above you can see how the normally hidden service menu of the Samsung 2233RZ display looks like, unlike on some other displays here you don't have a lot of options to mess with, but it can still be useful for example to see how many hours the monitor has been used. Here is how you can access the service menu on your Samsung 2233RZ 120Hz LCD Monitor:

Quote:
- Set the Contrast and Brightness to 0.
- Press the Menu button and release it.
- Press and hold the Enter button for 5 seconds (button 4 from top to bottom).
- To quit the service menu click the power button to switch off and then turn the monitor on again.

Yep, the only useful thing on the 2233RZ's Service Menu is the working hours count. Other than that, we know it is using a Samsung panel already, so there is no useful information from that either and not a lot of options you can change... On the Viewsonic and Acer the Service Menu is better and more useful... ;)

I am wondering if the "LOCK : OSD" option can be changed.... it would be helpfull to unlock it in 3D so you can control the colors for example.... That would be awesome...since 1 monitor has a blueish tint and the other 2 have more "warm" colors.

Will test and provide the feedback..:)

Edit: Unfortunately changing "LOCK : OSD" to "LOCK : Keys" still keeps the menius locked in stereo 3D :( So does anyone know how to calibrate the color on each display from a surround/eyefinity setup? I've googled around but cannot find any result....:(

Have you tried changing the color temperature?

Yes I did. Everything works perfect in 2D surround. However, once 3D kicks in and the monitor "loads" their 3D profile one monitor gets a yellow tint. ( This is a November 2010 Model. My other two are Nov 2009 models). So it seems that in stereo 3D mode the monitor overides any settings I make using the monitor's menu regarding to color...

Will try to override some settings using riva tunner later. I think I can do it if I put the "yellow" monitor on a separate Gtx 590 GPU. Using nv Surround windows will report 2 monitors ( that act as 1):
1. 1|2 Samsung Syncmaster 2233rz
2. 1|2 Samsung Syncmaster 2233rz

So one of them must be the "yellow" one... will provide the results later on when I get home.

Edit:
Unfortunately RivaTunner cannot help...looking for alternatives...
