There is still not much that you can try it with, still no games with DirectX 11.1 stereoscopic support.

Oh, really, it must be coded into the games.

I was hoping it would be more like 3D Vision in that it could be enabled / disabled outside of the game.

Oh well, I guess I won't be worrying about that any time soon. Sigh. :(

The idea is that if you integrate stereoscopic 3D support through DX 11.1 no mater what you are using for visualizing it, it should work equally well on 3D Vision with Nvidia and AMD HD3D on AMD-based hardware.

I get that, but I had hoped there would be some backward compatibility for earlier games... :(
