3DeeCentral is Now Available for HTC EVO 3D and LG Optimus 3D

February 7th, 2012 · 4 Comments · General 3D News

SpatialView has made available their 3DeeCentral software for Android-based 3D-capable smartphones such as the HTC EVO 3D and LG Optimus 3D, the application itself is free and is already available on the Android Market. By installing it on your 3D-capable Android-based smartphone you can get access to the 3D content being offered on the 3DeeCentral platform, however not yet all of the 3D images and 3D videos from the PC version of the software are available in the mobile version of the application. At the moment of writing this post there was only one 3D image pack and 72 3D videos avaialble in the mobile 3DeeCentral for Android-based 3D-capable smartphones, but hopefully the rest of the content will soon be available as well. The good news is that there is quite a lot of free 3D content that you can download and try, I did test the 3D photos and some of the 3D videos available on the LG Optimus 3D smartphone and they looked very well on the device’s autostereoscopic 3D display. So if you do own an HTC EVO or LG Optimus 3D (LG Thrill 4G in US) smartphone, then this appl is something that you should try out on your device. And while SpatialView’s 3DeeCentral is shaping to be very nice a multi-platform solution for easy access to 3D images and 3D movies from different types of 3D-capable devices, the lack of a lot of 3D content available through it is still what is holding it back a lot.

Just downloaded on the european GSM version of the evo3D (not CDMA), and the app tells me that it works on 3D only on evo 3D and LG 3D. It does not seem to recognize the GSM version :(

Check out the Phereo 3D photo app, nice 3D photos minus the registration.

It has one BIG problem: it saves everything on the internal SD, which in the LG Optimus3D is 5Gig and I have it almost filled. Why couldn’t the app makers make them save data in the _ExternalSD?
