May 10th, 2011 · 10 Comments · 3D Movies & Videos

Thanks to Michael from iWATCH3D and the release of the new Sony Vegas 10.0d update we now have some 3D video footage in Full HD resolution for each eye that was shot with the Sony HDR-TD10 consumer 3D camcorder. The video you can download from the link below is recorded in Auto mode, 3D 1080i50 AVC/MVC 28 Mbps and then was edited with Sony Vegas Pro 10.0d where it was deiterlaced using the blend mode. Michael was able to take the footage with a pre-production model of Sony HDR-TD10 3D camcorder during the Gadget Show Live 2011 on April 16th. You are welcome to leave your comments about the video below…

I tried this video directly as an mp4 with my Sony Bluray 3d player and it said the files was corrupt.

I burned it to a Bluray disc and it played but not in 3D only side by side.

I thought this compilation was supposed to play automatically. It doesn’t.

It plays automatically using nVidia stereoscopic player.
For 3D Blu-rays you need to use Vegas Pro 10.0d.

The video is flattened due to insufficient IO distance of lenses and the music is disturbing, more suitable for horror movie.

I use Power DVD 10 for 3D Blu-ray and it’s perfect, but this video will not play, just hangs with a black screen.

This video has nothing to do with 3D Blu-ray format.
If it does not play on your computer then you need to install mp4 codec with AVC support.

The real trick now is finding one someplace in stock.

There is a scene where people crossing in the foreground, that looks teribbly smudgy. I had to transcode the video to get it work on my Samsung LCD. (resolution not supported)

Not bad for a candid shoot. Must be even more impressive outdoors.
