The Flamingo Stereoscopic 3D Movie is Now Available

The Flamingo is a stereoscopic 3D movie shot in the San Francisco Bay Area during the summer of 2011 by San Francisco 3D Films using 2 Red cameras and a 3D Film Factory beam-splitter. The story of the film is about a boy getting dumped by his girlfriend and moving into a hotel for a month. Last year the 3D trailer of the movie was featured here on the blog and now thanks to the people that made it you can watch the whole movie in stereo 3D on YouTube (also embedded above). The Simple Carnival – Tornado Stereoscopic 3D Music Video

Here is another stereoscopic 3D music video from The Simple Carnival, this time for their new song “Tornado” from the upcoming music video movie Smitten 3D. The interesting thing here is that the whole video was created with black construction paper, a pen knife, and acrylic paint on paper and it has turned quite nice. Rise of the Guardians – Official Stereoscopic 3D Trailer

A nice surprise coming directly from DreamWorks (made available on YouTube 3D), an official stereoscopic 3D trailer for their upcoming animated movie Rise of the Guardians that will be available in 3D. There is also a 2D version of the trailer that you can watch. The movie looks like it is going to be a lot of fun and comes with a promise of spectacular 3D, but we’ll have to wait until 21st of November 2012 when it will be released to be sure of that.
