August 22nd, 2010 · 3 Comments · General 3D News

There is now a new website called 3Dizzy that is dedicated to providing stereoscopic 3D gameplay videos that can give you an idea on how well a game looks and performs in stereo 3D mode. Currently the website has stereoscopic 3D gaming videos recorded from the following games: Lost Planet 2: Benchmark, Street Fighter 4, Burnout Paradise, Avatar: The Game, Dark Void, Heroes of Might & Magic V – Tribes of the East, Metro 2033, Prince of Persia, Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days, Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum. The stereo 3D gaming videos are available both in YouTube 3D as well as in a downloadable format with higher quality, so you can take a look at the videos online and then decide to download them or not. The 3D videos are recorded with FRAPS and are available in Side by Side format. Also I want to remind you that you can also record your own 3D gameplay videos with the help of FRAPS and you are more than welcome to share them here in the Forum.

Stereo 3D Trailers for How to Train Your Dragon and Monsters vs Aliens

April 24th, 2010 · 9 Comments · 3D Movies & Videos

As you probably know getting your hands on some stereoscopic 3D content, besides games on the PC is quite hard and the movies studios are still not officially releasing any promotional materials for their already released or upcoming movies in 3D. Come on… releasing trailers in stereo 3D for 3D movies just like they do with 2D trailers should be happening now, but nobody is doing it. Still it is good that sometimes these trailers (I’m talking about just trailers, not whole movies) can find their way on the internet, so that we can enjoy them on our 3D-capable hardware. And now we have two new trailers in true stereoscopic 3D mode circling around for the animated movies How to Train Your Dragon and Monsters vs Aliens that you can download and play. They are in a Side by Side format, 16:9 aspect ratio, but unfortunately they are not in Full HD quality, although still they offer high resolution and good quality, so you will no be disappointed. And don’t forget to leave your comments below when you watch the trailers…

Two More Short Stereoscopic 3D Trailers Available for Download

April 15th, 2010 · 10 Comments · 3D Movies & Videos

Here are two short stereo 3D trailers of movies produced in 3D by the Red Star Studio that you can download and view on your 3D Vision or other stereo 3D-capable system. They are both with 1080p resolution and you need a stereoscopic video player like the 3D Vision Video Player or the Stereoscopic Player to view them. The Curse of Skull Rock video is a bit old, I’ve also noticed that the full version (about 12 minutes) is available on the Yabazam online store, but it is limited to users of the TriDef media player (it is in their proprietary format). However below you may find links to download a short trailer in 3D of the video and there is a trailer on the Yabazam for TriDef users available too. The other video with is quite fresh, also a short stereo 3D trailer of a full 3D movie is called Dracula 4D and this one seems to have been designed for the so called 4D cinemas where you can also feel some of the effects. As usual if you watch these stereoscopic 3D videos please share your comments below.
