Spatial View currently has an interesting offer for a 19-inch autostereoscopic 3D display (no glasses needed to view the 3D image), bundled with Spatial View PowerPlayer 3D video playback software and one of the company’s digital content creation plug-ins. What is interesting in this bundle is the price as it is quite good for professionals looking for an autostereoscopic 3D display and using Autodesk Maya, Autodesk 3DS Max, Adobe After Effects or Maxon Cinema 4D for creating stereoscopic 3D content. The display offers a native resolution of 1440×900 pixels and offers 5 viewing positions using parallax barrier to produce the 3D image without the need of additional glasses. The optimal viewing distance is between 0.8 to 1.50 meters away from the screen, the LCD panel is based on TN technology and has a response time of 5 ms, the maximum brightness is 380 cd/m2 and the maximum contrast is 1000:1. The 3DeeArtist Bundle is currently available with a price of $599 USD, which is a real bargain as only the 3D video player and any one of the plugins you choose are sold separately for a higher price than what you get with the bundle, so you can say that you kind of get the hardware for free.
