Neil Schneider from MTBS has managed to catch Andrew Fear, Senior Product Manager for Nvidia GeForce 3D Vision for a short interview at the 2012 CES. In the interview Andrew Fear talks about a new VR racing simulator for stereoscopic 3D gaming with triple monitor setup, the new 3D Vision 2 Glasses and 3D Lightboost monitors, stereo 3D game profiles and compatibility as well as MTBS’ GameGrade3D, timelines for the next round of GPU technology, stereoscopic 3D notebooks and S3D-capable mobile devices based on Tegra…

3D Interview with Steve Venuti, President of HDMI Licensing at CES

Neil Schneider from MTBS is at 2012 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) and today he managed to do a video interview with Steve Venuti, President of HDMI Licensing and the whole interview is in stereo 3D format. In it Steve Venuti shares details about the latest developments at HDMI and what they mean for stereoscopic 3D gamers. He also talks about the ramifications of HDMI and mobile technologies in the new year. We are waiting for more interesting 3D videos from Neil during CES as he is going to have some more interviews and more stereo 3D coverage during show in the next few days, so stay tuned for more.

3D@Home Consortium’s PDF Guide to 3D at 2012 CES Show

The 3D@Home Consortium has published a short guide to all things 3D at the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), organized each year by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), that is starting next week (January 10th) in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. The guide is available in PDF format and presents you with a short overview of the 3D market with some notable current and future trends, something that might be useful to get you a brief overview. The more interesting part however is the information about companies that are going to be presenting their 3D-related services (and at what booth you can find them) and products or showcasing upcoming stereo 3D technologies, 3D conference programs and meetings and a list of of 3D exhibitors by product type.
