i have a dell XPS17 L702X with standard display Model no.B173RW01 ive found the display for the 3D virsion but its 50pin and i have a 40pin i found this on ebay

but i need some help to find out if this will just fit onto mine? can anyone help

That is only a display cable, not a full display for the laptop.

If you are considering to replace the 60Hz LCD panel with a 120Hz one for 3D, make sure it is fully compatible.

If there is difference in the LVDS cable connection you are simply not going to be able to make it work...

Hi,

I don't know if you still need an answer, but dell makes their xps 17 3d versions without optimus, fully bypassing the intel gpu. Therefore even if you buy the proper cable and the proper 120hz display, you probably won't be able to get the 3d to work
