Hi,

I am about to "enter" the 3D World :). I already have the 3D Nvidia Vision Kit and will now buy a monitor and a new graphic card. I have at the moment a Nvidia 8800 GT card but I assume that I need a better card in order to play games in 3D and watch films in 3D with a better resolution and less ghosting. My main concern is the noise level produced by the graphic card itself. After a research I have chosen to buy a GeForce GTX 560 Ti. Could anyone please suggest from which manufacturer I should buy it from? (having in mind I really intend to have a silent card):

1. EVGA 01G-P3-1561-AR GeForce GTX 560 Ti Free Performance Boost Video Card - 1GB, GDDR5

2. ASUS ENGTX560 Ti DCII TOP/2DI/1GD5 GeForce GTX 560 Ti DirectCU II TOP Video Card

3. ZOTAC ZT-50301-10M GeForce GTX 560 Ti Video Card - 1GB, GDDR5

Just a last question. Would it be much difference between GTX 550 Ti and GTX 560 Ti? Thank you all in advance.

The Asus card will probably be the most silent one, although the other two should still be Ok with the noise levels.

The 550 Ti is not enough for gaming in stereo 3D mode on higher resolution and with high details, the GTX 560 on the other hand is much better choice, here are some results from a 560 Ti in different games in stereo 3D mode: http://3dvision-blog.com/the-new-geforce-gtx-560-ti-is-great-for-budget-stereo-3d-gaming/

Hi Bloody,

Thanks so much for your reply. I am going to the US next week and at the moment I am checking for prices regarding different graphic cards. The difference between EVGA 012-P3-1573-AR GeForce GTX 570 HD and EVGA 01G-P3-1563-AR GeForce GTX 560 Ti is U$ 100. The question is if its really worth to spend 100 dollars more and get a GTX 570 instead of GTX 560 Ti?

Well, the GTX 570 will certainly provide higher framerates and better experience stereo 3D mode in more demanding games, so it is up to you to decide if it is worth it... depending on what games you play.
