This thread is to attempt to gather information on owner's confirmation on compatible DLP-Link 3D Glasses that work with the new Benq W1070 for 1080p/24fps 3D HDMI input signal. Please note that only 1080p/24fps input mode is relevant here, as all DLP-link 3D glasses will work with the rest of the modes (1080i, 720p, etc)

The following are confirmed:

Compatible:
Sainsonic 144Hz Glasseshttp://www.sainsonic.com/3d-active-glasses/3d-for-dlp/sainsonic-branded-ssz-200dlb-3d-active-rechargeable-shutter-glasses-for-dlp-link-projector-black.html
Benq 5J.J7K25.001http://www.benq.ca/product/projector/3dglasses-d3

NOT Compatible:
Sainsonic White 120Hz Glasses

I first got two pairs of 3DTV from ebay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/3D-Glasses-Sams ... 25758b79b0), they are light and bright enought for the Benq W1070, but gradually find that they are extremely prone to losing sync. Any, I mean any, bright scene and they're lost. They are also rechargeable, which I don't really like since it seems their battery don't hold much charge, regardless of specs. I don't know whether this has anything to do with their easy loss of sync, but if I recharged them, they can hold sync longer, however it is still too tedious to enjoy a movie where I have to adjust sync every minute or two so I decided to get something else.

The Monoprice 109459 DLP-Link 3D Glasses arrived a few days ago and what a difference, never once in the whole Star Trek: Into Darkness movie that they lost sync, I particularly tried them at the beginning of the movie where the scenes are very bright, and I like the fact that their batteries are replaceble, I've also used them to watch several more movies and never once that they lost sync.

I recently bought sainsonic 3D glasses for my benQ projecter, seems nice, but didn't compare it with other brands.
