My Acer H5360 just died (Again), last time the Fan stopped this time it has 50 dead pixels and Acer are quoting $600 to repair, out of warrantee… just

I am thinking I will get the NEC V300W, after much research, but was wondering if anyone has an opinion on this ?

When I do an image search I am not able to see the plug hole that is intended for the 3D vision sync cable, like the Acer has. Do I need this cable anymore ?

Can anyone suggest a different projector under the $1000 mark that is at least 1280 X 720 native ?

As far as I know, the Acer H5360 does not have a plug hole as you refer to it.

Are you refering to the s-video connection?

Nvidia 3D Vision glasses are driven solely by their USB Driver and only require the Vesa 3 cable to be connected when used with older Mitsubishi 3D DLP TVs

Also just a few years back, there was an article that stated that TI was extending the warranty on their DLP chipsets. You might look into it. As I recall, it was posted on engadget or gizmodo(maybe)
