Hi!

Since I got an Acer K330 (1280x800 native, 3D ready) which only supports 3D when it's frame consecutive 120Hz feed from a 3D Graphics card (not 3D from a 3D bluray player), I may have to convert the video? Bluray 3D seems to be top/bottom or side by side 3D 60Hz... Is there a linux compatible way to play a bluray 3D on this beamer with my PC? It took me some time to get linux playback for normal Bluray, but this seems to be beyond my capabilities. Best way seems to downsample to the native resolution and convert the "in frame" 3D to a frame consecutive stream?

You need to use a player that can accept for example Side by Side 3D videos and convert them in real-time to frame sequential format for output to the projector. You can try with Bino, it is a free 3D video player available for Linux as well as other operating systems: http://bino3d.org/. I'm not sure however if you will be able to make a frame sequential output if you don't use a professional video card such as a Quadro under Linux.
