I've have Cyberlink PowerDVD mark 10 playing Blurays just fine for the last mounths. Today I tried to let my friend see (Avatar Blu-Ray) and I get nothing.
When I hit play a dialogue pops up asking me to select a region. I select B(SWEDEN) and hit finish but the same dialogue pops up again. I select B again and then finish.
This time a new dialogue pops up that says there has been an internal error # 800401F9. I tried a standard DVD and it played without any problems so I think the drive is working, however, I can't see the contents of the disc in explorer when a BD is inserted.

Any ideas? This is extremely frustrating especially considering the money I dropped to it.

Thanks,
-Jimmy

just some generic ideas

Ensure the powerdvd is updated to the latest version, e.g. click on support > software updates on the powerdvd website. If so, also, post in the cyberlink forums.

It seems like the player is trying to set the region on the Blu-ray Drive, but can't for some reason.

Have you set the region or changed it a lot in order to play different region Discs, because there is usually a limited number or times you can change the region of the drive...

This is frustrating. I get exactly the same thing. I just bought my dvd blue ray player.

this is my current PC specs:

intel I7 930
nvidia 460 GTX XLR8
LG BH 12
minitor LED BenQ 120Hz

Why can't I play a blue ray 3D disc??? :?:

PS.

The movie is : space station 3D.
