The laptop is Ok, however not that great for gaming in stereo 3D mode.

The GeForce GT 555M is simply not powerful enough to play most games in 1080p resolution with maximum details in 2D, let alone in stereoscopic 3D mode... and most definitely not even close in being able to run Batman: Arkham City at max with it and in stereo 3D mode.

If you are looking for a high-end gaming laptop for stereo 3D gaming, then you should be looking at the 3D-capable solutions offered by Alienware, Maingear, Origin PC etc. Alternatively, for a bit lower end solutions and also more affordable you can check out Asus ROG or Toshiba Qosmio series as well. It might be worth waiting just a bit more if you are going for such an high-end gaming laptop in order to get the new refresh with Ivy Bridge and the latest mobile graphics available on the market...
