What graphics card do you have?

This monitor should be bundled with the DDD TriDef 3D software for stereoscopic 3D use, unfortunately Acer OEM installers are not available on the official TriDef website, though you can request one via the support form. The TriDef 3D software works on all GPUs, not only on Nvidia or AMD.

The good news is that passive 3D displays support direct output of 3D images in Row Interleaved format, meaning that any software that supports it can be used to display images in 3D on that monitor, regardless of the GPU (unless there are special requirements by the software).

If you have a compatible Nvidia-based video card you can also try this workaround:

I have a geforce 8800GTS.
I tried to install the nvidia 3dtv software but it does not work.
Its unter supported list. I'll have a look how i can install it...... (later)
The installer CD's i thrown away (i think).

DDD TriDef 3D software works perfect, its easy to handle and install. I've seen some 3d effects and I'm happy about it. Thanks for you Noob-Support. :)
I'll get a 3d movie and look whats happens then.

For 3D video playback you might want to check out the Stereoscopic Player or PowerDVD.
