Yes, it is possible if you know what you are doing... ;)

You need to check some tutorial explaining the structure of the EDID info blocks, so that you know what and how to change the values in it depending on what you want to modify or add.

OK, can you point to some tutorials?
Also, when creating an inf file to upload here, which one do I use. I show multiple items.
I have 3 real-time, 3 registry-active, 5 Registry, and 5 Sample.
I assume I use one of the Real-time ones.

Hi,
I can use S27A950D monitor with the acer inf driver, Nvidia 3d vision works. I set it to the frame sequential mode to make it work.
But there's a problem : The monitor shuts itself down after the 3d image mode is closed. Can we do something about it ?
I was using an Ati(Amd) hd5870 before and the monitor was getting into 3d image mode automatically without selecting an 3d mode from the monitor's osd menu. (With tridef)
But now, i'm using a Nvidia GTX680 and my monitor doesn't get into 3d mode automatically, plus there's a shutdown problem with nvidia 3d vision.
I think there must be an option to solve this with a modified driver, or software. This monitor can't be 100% incompatible with nvidia cards... Please help me, thanks.

I have the same problem that the monitor keeps shutting itself off. I would also like to know what is causing this. However I have a Samsung SA700

PlayStation 3D Display PS398078. There is one of these already floating around the web but it stopped working with anything later than nvidia's 296.10 driver. I was hoping a new EDID override could be made to work with the new nvidia drivers.

Ok, since no one is able to answer my questions about which ones to upload or about tutorials, I will upload the ones that I think are relative.
