With 3dtv play support (for the moment) disabled, is there a way to get TriDef running on this 24" Sony 3D Display? It is an active display and supports 3d in 1280x720 @ 60hz and 1980x1080 @ 24hz. I'd be looking to get support for the lower resolution.

I've tried a number of settings without success. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks!

It should work on AMD graphics card using HDMI 1.4 frame packaged output.

Quote:
If you are connecting a HDMI 1.4 3D TV/monitor/projector, and have a compatible AMD graphics card, then select the "AMD" manufacturer and "AMD HD3D Technology (HDMI 1.4a)" model.

Unfortunately TriDef 3D does not support HDMI 1.4 3D output on Nvidia graphics cards.

The Playstation 3D Display is compatible with Frame Packing, Side-By-Side, and Top-And-Bottom 3D formats, so if you are using SbS or Over/Under output with half horizontal or vertical resolution you should be able to make it work on any GPU.

Hi,

In fact, I use Sony 24" cech-zed1 with Tridef 3D and GtX 660.

The only thing you must do is to select manually your 3D mode on your monitor when Tridef start.

Except that, everything is just perfect and working.

A+

Hi,

So I'm under the impression that you have a very similar setup as mine and
has managed to get it working (whereas I've been trying for like 5
hours...).

You've got the GTX 660 with TriDef 3D and the Sony Playstation 24" 3D
Display, and I've got the GTX 650 Ti Boost with the same display and
software. I cannot seem to get the 3D to work at all though... Would you
mind telling me how you got it all set up, maybe a couple of screenshots of
your nVidia Control Panel settings as well as your TriDef Control Panel
settings? I would say I've tried 95% of the options in the TriDef contorl
panel under settings, nothing seems to work...

Do I leave the Stereoscopic 3D in nVidia control panel on or off? do I set
the refresh rate to 24hz or 60hz? So yah... any hand you can lend would be
greatly appreciated, I look forward to hearing from you!
