I'm new on this forum, I have had a Qumi Q2 projector (DLP enabled and 3D ready) for some time
and just heard about the Tridef 3D solution.
I also have two ATI Radeon 5870 boards (crossfire X), under Windows 8.
Back in time, I did buy Expand 3D DLP glasses, and tried to use all this hardware with the IZ3D drivers (now discontinued)
without much success.
I have read this post from this board: http://3dvision-blog.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=2784
It says that I could theoretically use my DLP compatible projector, even though it is not listed in the
AMD HD3D officially supported hardware list, using workarounds.
So is it worth buying a Tridef 3D license and trying such workarounds ? (I only want to play 3D games, I know I can not
see blueray 3D movies).
If so, could you please point me to the required workarounds ?
That would be greatly appreciated
