Nvidia has made available another nice stereoscopic 3D video on their website, designed to be watched on your 3D Vision glasses/monitor setup or on any other S3D system that you might have. The video is called Nürburgring 24 Hour Race and shows some really nice moments from the car race on the Nurburgring racing track shot in 3D. You should definitely watch it and the only drawback is that it is a bit short, only 2:20 minutes, but still a great demo on what can be achieved when shooting stereoscopic 3D in Full HD resolution. Now what we want is more full featured movies shot in S3D to be able to enjoy on out home stereoscopic 3D setups…

You can download the Nürburgring 24 Hour Race Stereo 3D video here

Pretty good, wish there was a lot more to pick from though, kinda sucks having a good s3d setup and no content for it =\

Yeah, you are right about that one… we need more content, especially in terms of stereoscopic videos and especially if they are made as good as this one.

By the way really nice graphics and resolution used. Very good technique used in this video. Excellent work buddy.

    Hi,

Is this video playable on 3D TV setup.. rather than on a nvidia 3d Vision equipped PC?

The side by side formats work fine with my LG TV (55LX9500) and I have the option of choosing Top/Down, Side/Side, sequential and one other format that I can’t figure out.

All of the options seem not to work.. as far as I can tell with this clip.

I’ve got the LG 3D TV conencted to a PC via HDMI… I know Nvidia 3D-Play TV software isn’t out however the side by side works and I’m wondering if this “full hd” clip will too? Just not sure what I should be choosing or if theres a setting I’ve missed.

    Thanks heaps

This is a dual stream WMV file, unfortunately you can play it on on PC and not directly on a 3D TV.
