New Nvidia Video and 3D Vision Drivers Version 267.24 Beta Are Available

March 1st, 2011 · 1 Comment · GeForce 3D Vision

Today Nvidia has released a new beta Video and 3D Vision drivers that are an important update for gamers playing in stereo 3D mode with 3D Vision. The new 267.24 Beta drivers are already available and a 3D Vision Driver CD will soon probably follow, with these drivers you may need to also download and install the separately latest 3D Vision USB driver for the IR emitter. But lets see what is new and fixed in this 267.24 release: there is an official 3D Vision profile for the game Bulletstorm that was released some days ago as a 3D-vision ready title, so this profile should make things function as they should’ve been right from the start (I’ll be checking out the game soon). The new driver also adds SLI support for Homefront, improves compatibility with Dragon Age II or with other words fixes the terrain corruption in DX11 mode (the game is coming in a few days, a demo is already available), and fixes an issue where the NVIDIA control panel may not be accessible via the Windows desktop.
