Playing Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days in Stereo 3D with 3D Vision

August 4th, 2010 · 5 Comments · Stereo 3D Games

In Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days you take control of the self-medicated psychopath Lynch, although you are still backed up by your partner in crime Kane. The story begins with Lynch having found peace in Shanghai and attempting to make a fat deal where the pay is beyond his wildest dreams and nothing is going to get in his way. However the simple job goes wrong setting off a desperate and frantic struggle for Kane & Lynch to escape the entire Shanghai underworld. The game is a a third person action-shooter and offers quite an interesting perspective along with a lot of violence and all that is what makes it fun to play, and adding stereoscopic 3D mode to the equation makes it even better.

Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days should be released in August 17th, but there is already a demo out that you can download and try available in Steam. The good news is that the demo looks very good in stereo 3D mode, so the expectations for the final game are already set high. There are no serious issues in the game when playing in stereo 3D mode with maximum details, even the HUD although minimal seems to be rendered in 3D and although there is still no official profile for 3D Vision available the game looks very well with default settings. So definitely worth trying it out while waiting for the 3D patch for Starcraft II to come out… ;)

i have tried kandl 2 demo in 3d and it does work rather good. the game also seems to be very gritty and has a cool shaky camera that helps to show the insanity of Lynch and intense atmosphere of the game. the first kandl was good this seems like it may be great!

Nothing in your comment mentions you running the game in surround. It looks like you are running it on one monitor in 3D and not in 3D surround.
