Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs Blu-ray 3D on June 22nd

June 10th, 2010 · 14 Comments · 3D Movies & Videos

Now we have a final date when the first standalone Blu-ray 3D movie will be available and that is June 22nd in USA (and even earlier in Europe – 11th for Germany, 14th for UK etc.), for the Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs Blu-ray 3D release. Up until now we only had bundles of Blu-ray 3D movies with different 3D HDTVs being sold or Blu-ray 3D hardware players. Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs Blu-ray 3D is already up for pre-order at Amazon with a price of $35.99 USD and I’m pretty sure that others will follow very soon. Bad news for Avatar fans though, you’ll still have to wait for most likely a next year standalone release, as the November release will be bundled only with new 3D HDTVs as currently Samsung and Panasonic are offering some movies bundles. So stay tuned for more movies being released on Bly-ray 3D, and you can already get the ArcSoft TMT3 Platinum + Sim3D plugin with Blu-ray 3D support on the PC and CyberLink will soon have the PowerDVD 10 Ultra Mark II update with Blu-ray 3D support that could happen as early as beginning of July…

I have this 3D Blu-Ray (german) and the C6900 Samsung 3D Blu-Ray Player with the Samsung UE55C8790 3D LED TV (german version of the Samsung UN8000 3D LED TV) and the 3D in this movie is good, but the 3D in monsters vs. aliens is much better (more deep) – Sorry for my bad english ;)

Yesterday I’ve bought the Italian BD3D version. I don’t have any problem, like loss of frame, with my early configuration.
3D vision, Nvida GT9600, Amd Phenom II, 4 GB ram.

    I’ve used Arcsoft Totalmedia with 3D plug-in.
